JOB SUMMARY Works with consultative sales team to develop collateral for pursuing new clients. Responsibilities include writing proposals and creating presentations, managing Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, working with our design team to create multiple types of collateral pieces for pitches, writing other non-press pieces (including case studies and brochure copy writing), and assisting in knowledge management of standard marketing content. Assists in coordination and development of more complex and/or higher profile internal and/or external communication materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act as bid coordinator for complex RFP responses, organizing responsibilities matrix and due dates for all deliverables
Create a variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for new pursuits and renewal contracts (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations)
Support research (e.g., studying prospectâs website and annual report to understand culture and enterprise goals) to aid management in business planning and strategy development
Maintain marketing database/library, including standard marketing collateral and case studiesEngage in the development and execution of communications programs
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of four to 6 years of relevant experience and/or training. Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages. Conducts intermediate financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills Advanced knowledge of Word. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of additional Microsoft Office applications.
